Mission: Zambia

Trip Date:
04/16/2009

In April 2009, a team from Cedarview will travel to the Village of Hope in Zambia. The team will bring some new pre-configured laptops and will asses and repair the existing laptops while on site.
During the first week our task will be to train and evaluate potential on-site computer lab support technicians. One of these candidates will be hired to be on staff at the Agape School to support the computer lab. We will also be assessing and repairing the existing lab in the first week.

Over $4600 Raised in Dessert Auction

Our Dessert Auction on Sunday night, November 30th, was wonderful. The gym was beautifully decorated in a winter theme- candles, snowflakes and white flowers, dessert were many and looked oh so yummy with hordes of people in attendance. Brownies, cheesecake, tiramisu, rice crispy snowman, pecan pie, more brownies, fudge – mmmmm good – the calories floating around the room and into peoples mouths were many but I don’t think anyone cared. Over $4600 was raised!
